ONGC-Mumbai Sector invites applications for recruitment of young and energetic men as Assistant Technicians (A-II Level) from candidates with valid registration of eligible Diploma qualification in any of the Employment Exchanges located within the State of Maharashtra.

1. Assistant Technician (Production) A-II Level

• Number of Posts : 81 (GEN-45, OBC-21, SC-8, ST-7)
• Qualification :3 years Diploma in Mechanical/ Chemical/ Petroleum Engineering

2. Assistant Technician (Electrical) A-II Level

• Number of Posts : 33 (GEN-20, OBC-8, SC-3, ST-2)
• Qualification : 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Should have Certificate of Competency as Electrical Supervisor

3. Assistant Technician (Instrumentation) A-II Level

• Number of Posts : 55 (GEN-32, OBC-14, SC-5, ST-4)
• Qualification :3 years Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering

4. Assistant Technician (Mechanical) A-II Level

• Number of Posts : 31 (GEN-18, OBC-8, SC-3, ST-2)
• Qualification :3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

5. Assistant Technician (Electronics)

• Number of Posts : 04 (GEN-3, OBC-1)
• Qualification :3 years Diploma in Electronics/ Telecom/ E&T Engineering

Age Limit: 30 years for General , 33 years for OBC and 35 years for SC/ST as on 31.12.2009.

Scale of Pay:Rs. 5100/- open ended with applicable rate of increment per year (Pay scales are due for revision w.e.f. 01/01/2007)
